Account and data deletion
Delete your SaleTrail account
You can request deletion without reinstalling the app or signing in. Email us from your account email when possible and include “SaleTrail account deletion” in the subject. If you posted anonymously, include the listing address or link and the phone/device details needed to locate the associated data.
Delete account
Delete account removes or de-links the account profile, authentication account, private notes, saved and visited state, alert preferences, push tokens, and active listings you ask us to remove. It unlinks the account from the phone's random installation identifier; the installation remains active and anonymous for feature continuity, moderation, and fraud prevention.
Mobile deletion choices
Clear local data removes local shopper and analytics state but keeps the random installation identifier. Delete anonymous device data is a separate mobile action that removes the installation identifier and private device data after the server verifies the request. If anonymous features are used later, SaleTrail creates a new random installation identifier.
Limited retention
Moderation, fraud-prevention, safety, security, legal, and deletion-audit records may be retained only as needed and are anonymized or de-identified where possible. They are not kept as a public seller profile.
