SaleTrail is a shopper-first website and mobile app for browsing local sales, posting your own listing, saving stops, and using Track Me responsibly. By using SaleTrail, you agree to these terms for both the website and app.
Posting Rules
Only post a public sale, community sale, event, or sponsor placement that you own, organize, manage, or have a good-faith right to share. Keep titles, dates, addresses, descriptions, and photos accurate. Do not post fake listings, private homes without a real sale, spam, scams, threats, profanity, slurs, blocked content, or misleading commercial content.
Community Content And Moderation
SaleTrail may review, hide, correct, reject, or remove community content and moderation reports that appear fraudulent, unsafe, offensive, duplicative, wrong-address, abusive, or inconsistent with the shopper experience. Shoppers can report listings and block sellers through an opaque device-local block that hides current and future content without revealing the poster's account or device identity. Repeat abuse may lead to account or device restrictions.
Accounts And Anonymous Posting
Website posting requires an account. Mobile posting may be anonymous and tied to a device identifier so SaleTrail can manage abuse while keeping public seller identity optional. If you log in later, SaleTrail may associate supported saved settings and posting tools with that account. You are responsible for activity from your account or device.
Location Accuracy
Map pins, addresses, directions, sponsor placements, and geocoded locations are provided for convenience and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Verify sale details before driving, and do not rely on SaleTrail for emergency, legal, or safety-critical navigation.
Sponsors And Advertising
Sponsor and advertising map markers may be shown for restaurants, gas stations, venues, or other businesses that support shoppers. Sponsor placement does not guarantee that a business is open, endorsed by an event organizer, or affiliated with every listed sale.
Route 66 And Partner Events
Route 66 and other regional event pages may be shown in preview mode before official participant data is approved. Preview information must not be treated as a live participant map or confirmed 2026 sale list until SaleTrail clearly labels it that way. Preview pages do not, by themselves, mean SaleTrail has an official partnership with the organizer.
